Marcello Varini graduated in Electronic Engineering in 2003 before the University of Pavia, and he is a member of the Italian State Institute of Engineers in Pavia.
He is a qualified European Patent Attorney, and a qualified Italian Patent Agent, admitted to practice before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office for patent matters.
He has been working in the Intellectual Property field with the firm Maccalli & Pezzoli since the year 2003; from the year 2022 he is associated with the firm Maccalli & Pezzoli.
His practice mainly involves patents (for example, drafting, filing, prosecuting and active/passive opposing domestic, European, International (PCT), and foreign patent applications); particularly, he specializes in electronics, telecommunications, information technology, electrotechnics, and mechanics patent matters.
He is capable of advising the firm’s Clients with respect to several patent related issues, for example, performing prior art searches, drafting patentability/freedom of use/validity advices.
He has been involved in several Official Technical Consultancies and Party’s Technical Consultancies in litigations at the Court Sections Specialized in Intellectual Property matters.
He is fluent in both written and spoken English.
